The Imperial Bank of Lehmark serves as the Empire’s central financial institution and the official steward of the Lehmark Digital Token (LDT). Established in its modern form in January 2026, the Bank’s online platform was developed through Base44 to provide Citizens with a secure, accessible, and fully integrated banking experience.

The platform allows Citizens to conduct transactions in LDT without requiring an external crypto wallet. This ensures that underage Citizens, as well as those residing in macronations where cryptocurrency is restricted or inaccessible, can still participate fully in Lehmark’s economic life. Prior to the launch of the website, all banking services were conducted through a dedicated Discord bot — a system now replaced by a professional, front‑end interface that reflects the Empire’s commitment to modern governance and digital sovereignty.

All banking operations and the use of LDT are regulated under Imperial Decree 00018 - On Currency and Banking, which establishes the legal and administrative framework for financial activity within the Empire.

Banking and LDT

The Imperial Bank provides a complete suite of digital banking functions, offering Citizens a genuine and professional financial environment. Account holders may conduct payments with other Citizens for Lehmarkian transactions, enabling smooth economic participation across the Empire.

For Citizens of adult age, the Bank also supports the deposit and withdrawal of LDT to and from external crypto wallets on the Stellar Network, such as LOBSTR. This functionality allows eligible users to trade LDT on the Stellar Market, expanding the currency’s utility beyond the Empire’s internal economy.

Opening an Account

Upon approval of a Citizenship Application, new Citizens are issued an invitation to create their Imperial Bank account. If an invitation is not received, Citizens may use the Sign Up function on the Bank’s website.

If the email provided is already registered, an account will be created automatically. If not, an Administrator will verify the Citizen’s details against official databases before approving the account. This ensures both security and the integrity of the Empire’s financial system.
